We had a bit of a false start with the release of the September 2018 version of Ascend – but never fear, that just gives you and your staff more time to brush up on all the new features!
September 2018: A few weeks ago, we gave you a sneak peek of the new features in the September 2018 version of Ascend. We were planning to release this version to all retailers worldwide on September 11.
However, on Friday, a few of our diligent beta retailers contacted us to let us know that they were seeing an odd number of transactions that stated they were still open on another workstation, even though they weren’t. Our development team immediately sprung into action and managed to hone in on the culprit late in the afternoon. On Monday, we announced that we’d be delaying the release, and our developers and QA team continued to hammer away at the issue.
Unfortunately, we found a few more issues that we wanted to ensure were addressed so we can provide you with the best possible version of Ascend, so it took us a little longer to get everything straightened out. But we’re happy to announce that we’ll be releasing the corrected version to all retailers world-wide on Tuesday, September 18!
Limited support: The support line will have a smaller-than-normal staff on the phones from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Central on Tuesday, September 18th so we can kick off the the Cyclo-cross World Cup in Waterloo! The support line will still be open during this time – you may just have a little longer wait time than you’re used to.
If you need an answer right away, our self-help resources can help you troubleshoot the issues we see most commonly or show you how to use the most common features in Ascend. If you still need help, just leave us a message, and we’ll get back to you ASAP when we’re available!
Dexter maintenance: If you’re a Trek retailer, you may already be aware that Dexter will be undergoing scheduled maintenance from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, September 16th. All Trek ordering and availability functions – including through Ascend – will be intermittently unavailable during this time.
