Meet Max, Ascend Support Technician

This week our subject is Max Lamberg, Ascend Support Technician. So, let’s get started…

What is your role at Ascend?

I’m a Support Tech. My goal is to answer the phone when you call in with a question about Ascend.

How long have you held this position?

I’ve been here for a year and a half.

What is most rewarding about your job?

The 100% best part of my job is getting to know lots of retailers. I love getting to say, “Oh yeah, we talked about a week ago. How’s it going?”

What are your hobbies?

I have a bunch of hobbies: I really love to bake sourdough bread; I have an awesome, big garden during the summer; and I’m training for a triathlon.

How do you keep a healthy work/life balance?

I don’t know if my work/life balance is “healthy” per se, but I definitely give myself nights off of work where I work on personal projects. I think I rely on my girlfriend to tell me when I can’t schedule a database cleanup that goes from 7 to 11 pm.

What show are you most likely to binge-watch?

I’m pretty likely to binge-watch Mind of a Chef on PBS. I’m crazy about that show.

If you were a bike accessory, what would you be and why?

If I were a bike accessory, I think I’d be a seat bag – because I’m always dirty, I like to be helpful, and I rarely get in the way.
