Today’s the day
The calendar might say today is National Love Your Pet day, or that Thursday is National Margarita Day, but here at Ascend, every day is National Ascend day! We just won’t make you write that across the whole calendar. For now, we do have a couple important dates and deadlines that you should jot down.
Limited support: The Ascend support line will be closed from 9:00AM-10:15AM on Friday Feb 23rd for an all-staff meeting. We apologize for any inconvenience!
Now it’s personal: Last year, we announced that we were setting up individual accounts for each and every one of our retailer locations. Unfortunately, that plan was delayed.
But we recently rolled out a new and improved website, and now we’re ready to get back on track.
If you requested a login last year, don’t worry, we still have your information!
If you haven’t requested access yet, just fill out this form ASAP! Our deadline for new requests is today and the shared ascendsupport login will only continue to work for a limited time after we issue the new accounts.
We’re in trouble now: What happens if your hardware isn’t cooperating, your internet goes down, or one of the many other things that could go wrong…do go wrong?
The Ascend Knowledge Base even has a Troubleshooting section full of topics like:
- My nightly database backups are failing,
- The touch screen isn’t working on my Ingenico payment terminal,
- My barcode scanner isn’t working,
- And How do I process sales during an internet outage?
If you’re worried that your hardware might be acting up because it’s outdated, take a moment to check our Minimum Hardware Requirements. Remember, most electronics (including computers) have a maximum lifespan of three to five years!
